Volunteer Day

On December 5, 2024, Ukraine celebrated Volunteer Day
Volunteers are people who change the world with their actions. They give their time, energy and soul to support those in need.
On this special day, the city of Odesa honored those who work tirelessly for others, giving warmth, support and hope. Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov noted outstanding volunteers who have become a true example of humanity and dedication.
Among the awardees was the president of the “Charity Fund for Development and Assistance “International Horizons” Alireza Pakhlevanzadeh, whose daily work and assistance made a significant contribution to the development of the volunteer movement in Odessa. His activities became a symbol of support for military and civilian people in need of help.
Odesa is proud of its volunteers. Thank you to everyone who does good every day and makes this world a better place.
