The mayor’s report to the Odessa city territorial community on the results of work for the past year 2024. 

On March 15, 2025, an important event for our city took place – the annual report of the mayor of Odessa, Gennady Leonidovich Trukhanov. Among the invited guests was the rector of the Odessa International Academy, director of the International Horizons Charitable Foundation, Alireza Pakhlevanzade.

Together with the rector, the event was also attended by Kherson deputies who closely cooperate with Alireza Pakhlevanzade in the implementation of important humanitarian and social initiatives.

Alireza Pakhlevanzade expresses deep respect for the mayor of the city and emphasizes that such a leader as Gennady Trukhanov still needs to be found. He emphasizes that today Odesa has a leader who not only does his job, but lives it. It is thanks to the coordinated work of the mayor and his team that Odesa remains a strong, stable city that develops even in extremely difficult conditions.

“There is no better mayor for Odessa and there will never be. I wish Gennady Leonidovich many years of fruitful work for the benefit of the city and its residents. Odessans can be proud to have such a leader!” — emphasizes Alireza Pakhlevanzade.

The rector also expresses sincere gratitude to Marat Korolev for his active work and significant contribution to the development of Odessa, noting that it is thanks to such people in the mayor’s team that many important projects can be implemented quickly and effectively.

During the report, key topics were raised: assistance to our military, support for Odessa communities, development of infrastructure and social programs. Special attention was paid to ensuring the defense capability of the region, support for the families of defenders of Ukraine, as well as the implementation of recovery programs for affected communities.
