The language of the educational process in the educational institution in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Education”, the Law of Ukraine “On the State Language of Ukraine”, the Law of Ukraine “On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language”, the Constitution of Ukraine and the School Charter is the Ukrainian language.
In addition to the state language, English, German and Russian languages are studied (as academic subjects).

Article 10. Ukrainian is the state language in Ukraine.
The state ensures comprehensive development and functioning of the Ukrainian language in all spheres of social life throughout the territory of Ukraine.
In Ukraine, the free development, use and protection of Russian and other languages of the national minorities of Ukraine is guaranteed.
The state promotes the learning of languages of international communication.
The use of languages in Ukraine is guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine and determined by law.

The state promotes the study of languages of international communication, primarily English, in state and communal educational institutions.
In educational institutions, according to the educational program, one or more subjects may be taught in two or more languages – the state language, English, other official languages of the European Union.

Article 21. State language in the field of education (ED.)
The language of the educational process in educational institutions is the state language.
The state guarantees every citizen of Ukraine the right to obtain formal education at all levels (preschool, general secondary, professional (vocational and technical), professional pre-university and higher), as well as extracurricular and post-graduate education in the state language in state and communal educational institutions.
Educational institutions provide compulsory study of the state language, in particular, institutions of professional (vocational and technical), professional pre-higher and higher education, to the extent that it is possible to carry out professional activities in the chosen field using the state language.
The state promotes the study of languages of international communication, primarily English, in state and communal educational institutions.
In educational institutions, according to the educational program, one or more subjects may be taught in two or more languages – the state language, English, other official languages of the European Union.
Foreign language teaching in educational institutions and foreign language courses is carried out in the appropriate foreign or state language.

2.12. In order to create conditions for international academic mobility, the Academy has the right to decide on the teaching of one or more disciplines in English and/or other foreign languages, while ensuring that students of higher education acquire knowledge of the relevant discipline in the state language. At the request of those seeking higher education, the Academy creates an opportunity for them to study the language of the indigenous people, the national minority of Ukraine as a separate discipline.
