ECOLOGICAL AND VETERINARY CLUSTER OF THE ODESSA INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY

The Odessa International Academy is creating an innovative scientific-practical cluster aimed at addressing the global challenges of the present: the ecological crisis, food security, and epizootic risks. INTERNATIONAL FORUM "ECOLOGICAL, FOOD, EPIZOOTIC RISKS AND SECURITY"

The forum is created as an informational platform for discussing urgent ecological, food, and epizootic problems. It operates in the legal regime on international educational, scientific, industrial, and consumer markets.

REGIONAL CENTER FOR WILDLIFE RESCUE AND REHABILITATION

The center is a non-profit institution established for coordinating rescue and rehabilitation activities among wildlife and preserving their natural habitats.

LIVING CORNER OF NATURE "LARK"

The living corner is created for providing extracurricular education to youth, cultural-educational events, and professional orientation.

Markanov Mykola Mykhailovych

The center is headed by Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Mykola Mykhailovych Markanov, who has over 30 years of experience in scientific, practical, and educational activities in veterinary medicine and environmental monitoring.

Practical training of students

The practical component of training includes work with wild animals at the Regional Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, allowing future specialists to master unique diagnostic and treatment techniques that cannot be obtained in a conventional veterinary clinic. Thanks to the modern virtual veterinary laboratory, students can practice complex veterinary procedures in a safe environment before applying these skills in practice.

Nature Corner "Lark"

The nature corner is created for extracurricular education of youth, cultural and educational events, and professional orientation.

Tasks of the corner:

  • Creating comfortable conditions for keeping animals and plants
  • Organization of extracurricular scientific and educational supervision of animals
  • Professional orientation of youth regarding the profession of a veterinary doctor
  • Consultative assistance on animal keeping
  • Organization of psychological help to the population through interaction with animals
  • Popularization of ecological and veterinary knowledge
