Directions of scientific activity

DIRECTIONS OF SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY OF THE ODESSA INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY

According to the Charter (clause 1.12.), the main areas of the Academy’s activity are:
  • Conducting high-quality educational activities for individuals to obtain higher education degrees in selected specialties under contractual obligations;
  • Conducting high-quality educational activities for individuals to acquire profiled secondary, professional (vocational-technical), and/or advanced vocational education;
  • Engaging in scientific activities by conducting research and facilitating the creative activities of participants in the educational process, preparing highly qualified scientific personnel, and utilizing the obtained results in the educational process;
  • Providing adult education as a component of lifelong learning (postgraduate education, professional training of workers, retraining and/or qualification improvement courses, continuous professional development, and any other components provided by law and proposed by the Academy), aimed at realizing the right of every adult to continuous education, taking into account personal needs, priorities of social development, and economic needs;
  • Selection, training, and certification of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of higher qualification;
  • Preparing applicants and career guidance work with them, informing applicants and students about the situation and trends in the labor market;
  • Qualification improvement and retraining of personnel, educational and professional consulting activities;
  • Financial, economic, production-commercial, publishing, cultural-artistic, sports-health activities;
  • Participation in ensuring social and economic development of the state through the formation of human capital;
  • Ensuring the organic combination of educational, scientific, and innovative activities in the educational process;
  • Creating necessary conditions for the realization by participants in the educational process of their abilities and talents;
  • Preserving and increasing moral, cultural, and scientific values and achievements of society;
  • Dissemination of knowledge among the population, raising the educational and cultural level of citizens;
  • Establishing international relations and conducting international activities in the fields of education, science, sports, art, and culture. International activities regarding the implementation of joint educational, scientific, and other programs and projects with foreign partners, primarily in the Eurointegration direction;
  • Forming the personality through means of patriotic, legal, environmental education, affirming in participants in the educational and scientific process moral values, social activity, civic position, responsibility, a healthy lifestyle, the ability to think freely, and self-organization in modern conditions;
  • Other types of economic activities not prohibited by law.
